Carrie Bishop
Carrie Bishop brings more than two decades of experience in public relations, communications, and marketing, with a core focus on higher education since 2020. At Intead, she leads and supports marketing and communications initiatives spanning international student recruitment, enrollment strategy, media relations, and thought leadership, with particular expertise in international enrollment
and neurodivergent education. Her work includes developing campaigns, positioning experts and institutions for media coverage, and translating complex issues into compelling stories for industry audiences.
Carrie is also a writer and contributor to the sector, regularly producing content for Intead’s industry blog and ghostwriting articles and thought leadership for clients and partners.
Her career began in the San Francisco Bay Area during the dot-com era, when she joined Ask Jeeves’ corporate communications team. She later moved to Miller Brooks, a full-service marketing agency in Indianapolis, where she managed the firm’s largest PR account. She has lived across the United States and abroad, including two years in Japan, experiences that have deepened her perspective on international education and global audiences. Carrie now lives in Massachusetts and holds a BA in Journalism & Broadcasting from Oklahoma State University.
